Sunday Jason sat up for an hour on the couch for the first time. He had an in-and-out cathedar so make sure nothing was blocking the passageway for urinating. No progress yet there. He had a four-hour dialysis session. He didn't throw up again after the two times early in the morning.
The weekend was really good for Jason, especially spending time with his brothers and close buddies from school.
It's Monday morning and the kidney doctor just came in and said that he doesn't have to do dialysis today. Now he'll be on an every other day routine. Physical therapy is just about to come in. Jason felt a toe this morning when I squeezed it firmly. He got a supository to help jump start his bowels. After a sponge bath, Jason is feeling refreshed.
Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for his kidneys, bowels and left foot.

Hey Jason,
I am Kevin's Bible study leader at UT. My name is Britton Sharp. I just wanted to let you know that my wife and I are praying for you. We love your brother and are taking care of him up here, but know that he would rather be with you. He loves you very much. We pray that God would draw you close and that the healing process would be fast.
In Him
Britton
Hi Jason,
So glad to hear about your progress each day. We, also, are praying for you alot. ... also for your parents and brothers! God is so good. Taylor's church group and Uncle Scott's bible study group are also praying for you. You certainly do have alot of people all over the US thinking about you and praying for a speedy recovery.
To the Kaspar family...we are humbled and appreciating our lives much more knowing what a close call Jason and the students at the University had. We have been talking about how God winks at us once and a while and truly feel that having the storm change direction and having the boys able to call out for help and all get rescued has no other answer then Gods care. We are praying for a speedy recovery and want you to know we are thinking of you constantly!!! Love The Goreys
Jason!
I just wanted to let you know that there are some ADPi's praying for you and thinking about you! We had dress rehearsal tonight for step sing and word on the street is sigma chi is a show to beat! Also, just imagine Bee in eyeliner and make up because I definitely got to see that tonight--maybe something I could have gone without but I guess anything for step sing! I'll tape the show for you and let you see it! You're missed on Samford's campus and for sure in our thoughts and prayers!!

Jason,
Even though it's hard for you I hope that God will use this tough time to further His kingdom! I'll be praying for you in the recovery days ahead! Everytime i think how much of a miracle it was that you're alive i thank God for saving you and your friends lives! Thanks so much for living out your faith even in that hole! I hope that i will get to see you again soon!
In Christ, Jacob Fillinger
Jason,
I wrote you a note that I sent to your home, but you maybe haven't gotten that yet. You are daily in my prayers, and I praise the Lord that you are making progress. I know the Lord has great plans for you. Read Jeremiah 29:11-13 today and claim its promise.
Yours, Mr. Webb
