We ventured to Nashville on Saturday and Kevin joined us from Knoxville. We met there to watch Steven's team. Eagles win and advance to the state tournament this coming weekend! So good to have both Kevin and Jason there to support Steven.
By the end of the day Jason was exhausted. He wasn't using his crutches and it was a bit too much. Sunday he napped on his stomach for an hour. That's a first!
Today Jason and I went to college! Just what every college boy wants -- Mom tagging along! Jason did use his crutches and we were given a temporary handicap parking pass to assist us in keeping down the effort required to get to classes. Union University has been so kind in working out the perfect schedule for Jason! We'll continue to make the pilgrimage together until Jason is a bit more self-sufficient, can drive and replaces his four wheels that were totalled in the tornado.
Thank you all for your many prayers. Please continue to pray that Jason will be patient with this healing process, that his swelling will go down, that his muscles will get strengthened, that his left ankle and foot will begin to "wake up" and that his nerves will make a full recovery.
Please pray that the doctors can pinpoint the source of Kevin's back pain. He has been watching out for Jason and helping him is so many ways. We are so thankful for him!
