Friday 2/22

Today Jason showered and shaved on his own. He just needed help putting on his shoes and socks.

Jason also laid aside the crutches and is getting much more stable walking.

Mike's sister, Lorna, and her family stopped by on their way from Chicago to N. Little Rock for a wedding. It was so good to see them.

Jason's appetite is definately picking up. He asked to go to Outback tonight. It's good to celebrate the progress he's made!

Tomorrow we're heading to Nashville for Steven's team's substate game. Kevin will join us there. It's been two weeks since Kevin has seen Jason, so this will be good for him to see how far he's come along.

Monday Jason and Mom will begin their commuting to Jackson for classes. Returning to normal activities seems to be the best thing for Jason at this time.

We continue to be blessed by the cards, phone calls, gifts and acts of kindness. Wow! To be so loved! Thank you all for your prayers!

Jason,

What a great update! It sounds like you're working hard and getting stronger each day. I hope you ordered the biggest steak that Outback had on the menu! You certainly deserve it. You hang in there and keep these good reports coming.

Debbie & Mike,

Thank you for being so faithful to update this site and letting us know how to pray. I check it about 5 times a day and get excited when there is a new post. I hope you all have a great weekend together, and I hope Steven 's substate game is a big win. Take care and tell Kevin "hello" for us.

Love,
Sheila

My eyes were filled with tears of joy to hear of such great progress. I know you will have a great weekend as just being together as a family is such a precious blessing. We will be praying for Jason as he starts back to school and mom and dad as they have to be away from him some of the time.

I just finished reading this whole blog. What a blessing it was to me to hear how God has answered so many prayers.
Becki Brimhall (my sister) had told me about Jason and the others that were hurt so we have been praying here in Albuquerque, NM. My husband and I were clued to the weather channel the night of the tornadoes. 1st worried for our own children and then upon hearing that it hit Jackson, we were concerned for the people there.
Jason, we hope you continue to improve daily.
God Bless you,
Debbi and Larry Schweizer
