Wednesday's therapy was mainly for evaluating the many areas that need to be addressed. This morning they worked with Jason for 1 1/2 hours, stretching his muscles. He'll go to therapy three days a week. The therapist told Jason that the swelling in his torso would be the first area to improve and that would take a couple of months. The swelling in his legs will take longer to go away.
Last night Jason climbed the stairs by himself with the brace on, crutches in hand and using the bannister! He also worked hard this morning to put the brace on by himself and then come downstairs alone. These accomplishments are huge!!!
Thank you for all your prayers. Please continue to pray for his left foot to regain movement, his muscles to relax so he can begin to strengthen them and to know what he can and can not do without getting frustrated (patience!).
